One of the most common question related to the age of their machine, so to make life easier we have added a link to a website that covers a lot of the more common machines to try and help our customers get exacting quotes.

The email provider Hotmail recently changed its spam filter settings, which basically meant if the sending email address was not already in your contacts lists, it wold block the message being received.
For the short term we rejected orders from hotmail accounts as there would be no way of updating our customers about their laptops.
Hotmail has no issued a resolution patch to this problem which was successfully added to the sellyourlaptops server last night and all tests look positive but we will continue to monitor this for the short term.
If you have a Hotmail account and have not heard from us for sometime, please get in contact for an update.
31st January 2013
Seeing as December and January are such busy times for us, we thought we would share the feedback we get from http://www.theplace2be.org.uk.
"Dear sellyourlaptops.co.uk,
That’s fantastic news! £1,117.80 is a brilliant amount – and is enough money to
provide 186 sessions at our Place2Talk lunchtime service, which children can
self-refer to whenever they feel worries, upset of frightened and need to
talk.
After coming to talk to Place2Talk, one child said: “Place2Be is good because people who are upset or bullied can go there. They will help you with your feelings and doing something about it”.
Without your efforts and commitment we simply could not continue to provide such a vital service, so thank you once again for supporting Place2Be."
So thank you sellyourlaptops.co.uk customers for helping 186 children in the UK speak out in confidence.
